  On first viewing this looked like a great find in amongst the plethora of fast food outlets on the road between Sydney and Tamworth. Alas it was not to be. On the first visit my friend and I were served by a woman who seemed to hate people and was very surly. On the second visit they forgot my order even though we were the only customers and after a 35 minute reminder of 'is my food coming soon?' they then got it wrong. On the fourth visit, a Sunday, it was closed...WTF do they not want tourists? On the fourth and final visit they only had 2 items on the lunch menu as it is not possible to cook eggs after 11am for some reason and once again it was the surly people hating woman in charge. No more attempts for me. They had 4 chances to impress because there is not much to see in Scone on driving through. The small fruit shop on the other side of the road is brilliant though and serves great local produce.

  It's difficult to find real food in most Hunter Valley towns. This little place in Scone had good food, coffee& service! I had a nice Sunday morning breakfast on way back to Sydney.
